DIVERSITAS SPASIAL KARANG KERAS (Scleractinia) PERAIRAN TELUK CILETUH, KABUPATEN SUKABUMI, JAWA BARAT

Abstrak


Terumbu karang di pesisir Sukabumi masih belum terekspos dan tergali secara menyeluruh terutama di wilayah Teluk Ciletuh. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi terumbu karang dan mengidentifikasi diversitas dan distribusi spasial genus scleractinia di perairan Teluk Ciletuh. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan lima stasiun. Penentuan titik stasiun riset dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Proses pengambilan data terumbu karang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Transek Foto Bawah Air (Underwater Photo Transect = UPT). Berdasarkan hasil riset,  kondisi terumbu karang di lima stasiun pengamatan, memiliki tutupan karang hidup rata-rata sebesar 34,80 % yang tergolong sedang. Indeks keanekaragaman yang didapat dari lima stasiun berada pada nilai antara 1,19 – 2,07. Genus yang ditemukan di perairan Teluk Ciletuh sebanyak 28 genus. Acanthastrea, Acropora, Astreopora, Australogyra, Caulastrea, Cyphastrea, Diplohastrea, Echinopora, Favia, Favites, Galaxea, Goniastrea, Hydnophora, Leptastrea, Leptoria, Leptoseris, Lobophyllia ,Madracis, Montastrea, Montipora, Oulophyllia, Pachyseris, Pavona ,Porites, Pseudosiderastrea ,Stylophora, Turbinaria, dan Heliopora (Non-Scleracitnia). Masing-masing stasiun memiliki sebaran yang beragam.
