Proses Penyembuhan dan Perawatan Luka : Review Sistematik

Abstrak


Luka merupakan suatu bentuk kerusakan jaringan pada kulit yang disebabkan oleh kontak fisika (dengan sumber panas), hasil dari tindakan medis, maupun perubahan kondisi fisiologis. Ketika terjadi luka, tubuh secara alami melakukan proses penyembuhan luka melalui kegiatan bioseluler dan biokimia yang terjadi secara berkesinambungan. Proses penyembuhan luka dibagi ke dalam lima tahap, meliputi tahap homeostasis, inflamasi, migrasi, proliferasi, dan maturasi. Akhirnya, pada tahap proliferasi akan terjadi perbaikkan jaringan yang luka oleh kolagen, dan pada tahap maturasi akan terjadi pematangan dan penguatan jaringan. Penyembuhan luka juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor di dalam tubuh, yaitu IL-6, FGF-1, FGF-2, kolagenase, H2O2, serta BM-MSCs. Perawatan luka dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan selulosa mikrobial, balutan luka, maupun modifikasi sistem vakum. Terapi gen juga mulai dikembangkan untuk penyembuhan luka, diantaranya aFGF cDNA, KGF DNA, serta rekombinan eritropoietin manusia. Pengembangan formula dari sistem dan basis yang digunakan juga dilakukan untuk membantu proses penyembuhan luka. Zat aktif dari bahan alam pun akhir-akhir ini gencar dikembangkan sebagai alternatif pengobatan.
