POLIMORFISME GEN SLC11AI, ABCB1, DAN VDR SERTA ASOSIASINYA DENGAN TUBERKULOSIS MULTIDRUG-RESISTANT
Abstrak
Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah suatu penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Penyakit ini kemudian berkembang menjadi semakin berbahaya dengan ditemukannya kasus tuberkulosis multidrug-resistant (TB-MDR) yang merupakan suatu keadaan di mana terjadi resistensi terhadap sekurang-kurangnya dua jenis obat antituberkulosis (OAT) poten yaitu isoniazid dan rifampisin. Dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan penelitian-penelitian terhadap TB-MDR, diketahui bahwa tidak hanya M.tuberculosis, tetapi adanya mutasi pada satu basa atau single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) pada gen manusia yang merupakan inang, turut berperan dalam peningkatan resiko terjadinya TB-MDR. Beberapa gen yang dicurigai menjadi faktor resiko TB-MDR yang akan dibahas pada studi pustaka ini diantaranya adalah solute carrier family 11 member 1 (SLC11A1), ATP-binding cassette B1 (ABCB1), serta vitamin D reseptor (VDR).
