Artikel Ulasan: Kandungan Senyawa Kimia dan Aktivitas Farmakologi Spirulina sp.
Abstrak
Spirulina sp. merupakan mikroalga hijau-kebiruan yang mempunyai berbagai manfaat karena kandungan senyawanya yang beragam diantaranya protein, mineral, vitamin, serat, pigmen phyocyanin, asam lemak tak jenuh, beta karoten, tiamin, nicotinamide, piridoksin, riboflavin, asam folat, fitokimia fenolik, fikobiliprotein, catechin hidrat, epicatechin, pyrocatechol, dan enzim superoksida dismutase (SODArtikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan iformasi ilmiah mengenai kandungan senyawa kimia dan aktivitas farmakologi Spirulina sp. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan dan skrining data dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu informasi mengenai kandungan senyawa kimia yang terkandung serta aktivitas farmakologi yang ditimbulkan memiliki aktivitas imunomodulasi, antioksidan, antikanker, antitumor, antimikroba, antiinflamasi, penurun berat badan, antidiabetes, penurun kosentrasi serum lipid, berperan dalam bone modeling dan pertumbuhan serta perkembangan anak.
