Kajian Literatur: Aktivitas Antimikroba Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) terhadap Bakteri dan Jamur

Abstrak


Sambiloto merupakan tanaman yang digunakan pada pengobatan secara tradisional pada Ayurveda, Unani, dan Siddha di India. Sambiloto memiliki beberapa aktivitas diantaranya adalah anti bakteri dan anti jamur. Anti bakteri dan anti jamur merupakan agen yang dapat menghilangkan atau menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri atau jamur yang dapat menyebabkan infeksi. Untuk mengetahui aktivitas anti mikroba dari sambiloto ini dilakukan kajian literatur mengenai aktivitas antimikroba sambiloto. Dilakukan pencarian jurnal berbahasa Indonesia dan berbahasa Inggris yang sesuai dengan kata kunci kemudian diskrining berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Didapatkan 19 jurnal yang cocok kemudian dikaji berdasarkan bagian tanaman yang digunakan, pelarut, senyawa aktif, dan hasil pengujiannya. Dilakukan pengkajian mengenai aktivitas antimikroba yang didapatkan dari berbagai jurnal yang penelitiannya dilakukan di berbagai negara untuk mengetahui aktivitas anti mikroba dari Sambiloto. Hasilnya terdapat aktivitas sambiloto dengan spektrum yang luas di mana sambiloto dapat menghambat bakteri gram positif, bakteri gram negatif, dan jamur.
