PENGARUH SELF-ESTEEM TERHADAP KETERBUKAAN DIRI ODHA BERORIENTASI SEKSUAL GAY KEPADA PASANGANNYA

Abstrak


ABSTRAK

Transmisi HIV pada ODHA berorientasi seksual gay secara global semakin meningkat dan paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan populasi lainnya, terutama di Indonesia yang sudah sangat mengkhawatirkan. Tidak dapat dibantah bahwa tindakan seksual pada kelompok beresiko tinggi di komunitas homoseksual akan berkontribusi penting pada penularan HIV & AIDS. Keterbukaan diri ODHA berorientasi seksual gay kepada pasangannya memiliki peranan penting dalam memutus rantai transmisi HIV diantara ODHA LSL. Tujuan studi ini untuk memberikan gambaran dan mengidentifikasi pentingnya keterbukaan diri ODHA terhadap pasangannya serta faktor yang mempengaruhinya serta mengidentifikasi bagaimana self-esteem ODHA mempengaruhi keterbukaan diri ODHA kepada pasangannya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada metode penulisan artikel ini dilakukan melalui studi pustaka berupa tinjauan artikel melalui jurnal dan artikel yang membahas terkait gambaran kasus penularan HIV dan AIDS yang terjadi pada homoseksual, faktor yang mempengaruhi keterbukaan ODHA LSL dan bagaimana self-esteem ODHA LSL dapat memengaruhi keterbukaan status dirinya kepada orang pasangan dan sekitarnya. Hasil tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa keterbukaan status ODHA seseorang kepada orang lain atas privasinya dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, terlebih ketika hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi hubungan antara dirinya dengan yang lain. Keterbukaan status diri ODHA kepada pasangannya sangatlah penting dan krusial baik bagi kesehatan pasangannya serta hubungan yang mereka jalani. Walaupun sulit untuk dilakukan, terbuka kepada pasangan atas kondisi kesehatan seksual haruslah dilakukan, terutama bagi orang-orang dengan orientasi seksual gay. Penting juga untuk diingat bahwa mengetahui status kesehatan seksual pasangan adalah hak seseorang yang harus dipenuhi.

 

ABSTRACT

HIV transmission in gay sexually oriented HIV globally is terrace and extreme between with other populations, specifically in Indonesia is already very concerned. It is undeniable that sexual behavior in the high-risk group of the homosexual community contributes to significant transmission of HIV and AIDS. Openness of HIV status is an key role in cut of the link of HIV transmission between HIV. The purport of this research is to present the view and identify the importance of openness of HIV to their partner and the factors that affect it and identify how self-esteem affects self-disclosure to their partner. Data collection techniques in this method of writing this article via a literature study within of review of articles through journals and articles that discuss the picture of cases of HIV and AIDS transmission that occur in homosexuals, factors that affect the openness of ODHA LSL and how self-esteem of ODHA LSL can affect the openness of its status to couples and their surroundings. The results of the literature review showed that the openness of a person's HIV status to others over his privacy is influenced by many factors, especially when it can affect the relationship between himself and others. The openness of ODHA's self-status to his partner is very important and crucial both for the health of his partner and the relationship they live. Although difficult to do, being open to couples over sexual health conditions should be done, especially for people with gay sexual orientation. It is also important to remember that knowing a partner's sexual health status is a person's right that must be fulfilled.
