Mengatasi Tantangan Pascaamputasi: Dinamika Resiliensi pada Pria Dewasa Muda

Abstrak


Proses amputasi memaksa individu untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan fisik yang signifikan, terutama pada pria dewasa muda yang berada pada fase penting dalam perkembangan hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika resiliensi pada pria dewasa muda yang mengalami disabilitas fisik akibat amputasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan teknik interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). Partisipan dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria pria berusia 18−40 tahun yang telah mengalami amputasi minimal satu tahun. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi tiga tema utama: konflik pascaamputasi, titik balik perubahan, dan proses penerimaan diri. Konflik pascaamputasi mencakup perubahan emosi dan kondisi keterasingan, yang memperlihatkan tantangan besar dalam penyesuaian diri. Titik balik perubahan ditandai oleh penguatan dari lingkungan dan motivasi internal, yang berperan penting dalam mengubah perspektif partisipan. Proses penerimaan diri melibatkan perjalanan dari penolakan terhadap kondisi fisik, perubahan cara pandang, hingga pemaknaan hidup baru pascaamputasi. Kesimpulannya, resiliensi pada pria dewasa muda pascaamputasi merupakan proses dinamis yang didorong oleh interaksi antara dukungan sosial dan kekuatan internal. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan jangka panjang dan program intervensi yang komprehensif untuk mendukung proses adaptasi yang berkelanjutan.
