Pertumbuhan bibit batang bawah karet (Hevea brasiliensis (Willd.) Mull.-Arg.) Klon PR 261 yang diberi Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskula (FMA) dan pupuk fosfat

Abstract


This Research aims to determine the effect of interaction between the dosage AMF and dosage of P fertilizer on growth of rootstock seedling of rubber Clone PR 261. The experiments started in April until August 2009 at Cikumpay Plantation, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII, Purwakarta, West Java, with altitude ± 70 m above sea level. Randomize Block Design (RBD) with factorial pattern used in this experiment, consisted of two treatment factors and repeated three times. The first factor was the dosage of AMF, consisted of four dosages level, without AMF, 10 g/seedling, 15 g/seedling and 20 g/seedling. The second factor was the dosage of P fertilizer that consisted three dosages level, 100 %, 75 % and 50 % recommendation dosages. The results showed that there were interaction effect between the treatment dosages of AMF with dosage of P fertilizer to circle of stem. At the dosage level AMF 20 g/seedling and P fertilizer recommendation of 50 % dosage produces the best circle of stem of 1,10 cm. Treatment dosage of AMF independently were give effect to the degree of root infection, plant height, circle of stem, the number of leaves, the root volume, dry weight of shoot, root and seedling. As a whole dosage 15 g/seedling gives the better effect than without AMF, 10 g/seedling and 20 g/seedling inoculation level. Treatment 100 % dosage of P fertilizer recommendations have the same effect with 50 % dosage of P fertilizer recommendations on the growth of rubber seedlings, so for the efficiency of fertilization can be performed using half the dosage recommendations on Latosol type of soil in the Cikumpay Plantation, PTPN VIII.
