PENGEMBANGAN USAHA KECIL PENGOLAHAN PRODUK PANGAN HASIL TERNAK UNGGULAN MASYARAKAT DESA CANGKUANG KECAMATAN RANCAEKEK KABUPATEN BANDUNG

Abstract


Cangkuang Village is an urban village nearby industrial locations. The advantage of being close to industrial locations makes business opportunities for the surrounding community. One of the business opportunities is food processing from livestock products. The introduction of knowledge about the processing of livestock products can be done to increase the skills and knowledge of the Cangkuang Village community regarding the handling and processing of ASUH livestock products. The purpose of this PPM activity was to increase the knowledge, abilities and skills of the community (micro small business actors in the field of processed livestock products, PKK members/pos yandu cadres) in processing various processed food products with the ASUH pattern and improve students' abilities to socialize with the community, identify the needs of the community, and provide a program for solving problems that exist in the community regarding the processing of livestock-based food products. The method used was to conduct Integrative PPM by collaborating between KKN Students and training programs on meat processing become sausage, abon and dimsum products. The activities have been carried out well. There was a significant increased (P<0.05) between pretest and posttest scores for training participants. The conclusions of this activity are: there were an increase in the knowledge, abilities and skills of the community (micro small business actors in the field of processed livestock products, PKK members/yandu post cadres) in processing various processed food products with the ASUH pattern
