Nilai-Nilai Konfusianisme dan Stagnasi Perkembangan Gerakan Feminisme di Korea Selatan
Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak Konfusianisme terhadap stagnasi gerakan feminis di Korea Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui analisis dokumen dan tinjauan literatur untuk mendapatkan pemahaman rinci tentang gerakan feminis di negara tersebut. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji dampak jangka panjang nilai-nilai Konfusianisme terhadap peran gender dan dinamika keluarga, serta dampak geopolitik Korea Selatan, khususnya hubungannya dengan Korea Utara, terhadap perkembangan gerakan feminis di negara tersebut. Kemudian, penelitian ini juga mengulas tentang perkembangan gerakan feminisme di Korea Selatan dan reaksi masyarakat terhadap pergerakan tersebut. Temuan dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa adanya keterkaitan antara nilai-nilai Konfusianisme di Korea Selatan terhadap lambatnya kemajuan gerakan feminisme di sana.
The research explores Confucianism's impact on the stagnation of the feminist movement in South Korea. It utilizes a qualitative descriptive methodology, involving data collection through document analysis, and literature review to gain a detailed understanding of the feminist movement in the country. The study also examines the long-term effects of Confucian values on gender roles and family dynamics, along with the impact of South Korea's geopolitics, particularly its relations with North Korea, on the feminist movement. Additionally, the research reviews the progress of the feminist movement in South Korea and the public's reaction to it. The research findings demonstrate a connection between Confucian values in South Korea and the slow advancement of the feminist movement there.
