FAKTOR INDIVIDU DAN LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL SEBAGAI PENYEBAB PERILAKU SEXTING DI KALANGAN REMAJA
Abstrak
Perilaku sexting didefinisikan sebagai kegiatan mengirim atau menerima konten seksual secara eksplisit melalui pesan teks, ponsel pintar, serta media sosial dalam bentuk kata-kata, gambar maupun video. Perilaku ini merupakan jenis permasalahan sosial dengan media baru melalui teknologi internet, yang memberikan dampak negatif pada aspek keberfungsian sosial individu terkait, yakni remaja. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor individu dan lingkungan sosial sebagai penyebab perilaku sexting di kalangan remaja. Pendeskripsian diawali dengan penjabaran mengenai perilaku sexting di kalangan remaja, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembahasan mengenai faktor individu dan faktor lingkungan sosial sebagai penyebab perilaku sexting di kalangan remaja. Metode pengkajian ini menggunakan studi literatur dalam kerangka perspektif ekologi sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab perilaku sexting dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor utama. Pertama, faktor individu yang berkaitan dengan kondisi biologis, psikologis, dan spiritual remaja. Kedua, faktor lingkungan sosial yang berupa variasi dan pola interaksi keluarga, pola hubungan dengan teman sebaya dan pasangan, serta kondisi masyarakat dimana remaja tersebut tinggal.
