Pendekatan Spasial untuk Pengembangan Destinasi Pariwisata Berkelanjutan
Abstrak
Perencanaan pariwisata sering kali tidak melibatkan unsur-unsur spasial dalam mewujudkan destinasi pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Lembang sebagai destinasi pariwisata berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan spasial. Selain itu, diidentifikasi klasifikasi daya tarik wisata yang tersebar di Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik perolehan data dilakukan secara wawancara pada pengelola daya tarik wisata dan observasi dalam menentukan posisi geografis elemen spasial. Dilakukan juga kajian terhadap penelitian terdahulu dan dokumen kebijakan terkait pembangunan kepariwisataan Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dilakukan analisis isi dan analisis deskriptif, serta dilakukan analisis peta dalam merancang model spasial destinasi pariwisata Lembang menggunakan ArcGIS online dan Adobe Illustrator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sebelas elemen spasial yang mampu menunjang Lembang sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Diidentifikasinya elemen spasial sebagai upaya menciptakan destinasi pariwisata berkelanjutan untuk wilayah Lembang dan sekitarnya, sehingga mampu menjadi acuan dalam mengimplementasikan pembangunan kepariwisataan oleh pengelola destinasi pariwisata Lembang yaitu pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
