HUBUNGAN KANDUNGAN KLOROFIL-A DENGAN STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS FITOPLANKTON DI SEKITAR KARAMBA JARING APUNG WADUK IR. H. JUANDA JATILUHUR PURWAKARTA

Abstrak

The aim of the research was to study and compare the biomass (chlorophyll-a) and the structure community of phytoplankton at and out of floating cage net culture area at Jatiluhur Reservoir Purwakarta. The research was used survey method with five stations by depth of 0,5 m, 1 m, 2 m, 4 m, and 8 m, with six sampling every seven days. The collection data then analyzed to calculate biomass (chlorophyll-a), the abundance of plankton, Simpson diversity index, Simpson dominance index and statistic analyzed by double multivariate regression and correlation and T-test. The result of the observation showed that biomass (Chlorophyll-a) was high and put the location into euthrophic level with the lower average of chlorophyll-a 6,97 mg/m³ in station II depth 2 m and the higher was 61,0 mg/m³ in station V depth 0,5 m. There was 38 genus phytoplankton found in the research location, and the dominance phytoplankton was Oscillatoria from Cyanophyta.Based on the double multivariate regression and correlation between chlorophyll-a and phytoplankton abundance was significant in station V 0,5 depth with the linier equation y = -225,04 + 40,78 x – 1,81 x².
