PENGARUH LIMBAH PADAT RUMAH SAKIT HASIL INSINERASI DAN PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN BAYAM (Amaranthus sp.) VAR. GITI HIJAU

Abstrak

Research on the effect of the incinerated solid waste from hospital and NPK fertilizer on the growth of spinach (Amaranthus sp. ) var. Giti Hijau was conducted from April-November 2003. The research followed a experimental design of the complete randomized design continue by Duncan’s Test (α=5%). Six treatments were used : 50 g of waste/polybag; 100 g of waste/polybag; 150 g of waste/polybag; and 0,5 g NPK/polybag; 0,75 g NPK/polybag; 1 g NPK/polybag. All treatment were then compare to a control (0 g/polybag) and  each parameter was replicated four times. Observed parameters were number of leaves, the plant’s height, the growth rate, and  dry weight.  The result showed that the parameter in 150 g of waste/polybag all were lowest, whereas all the parameter in 0,75 g NPK/polybag were highest.
