PERBANDINGAN PENGARUH EKSTRAK TEMU PUTIH (Curcuma zedoaria) DENGAN TEMU IRENG (C. aeruginosa) TERHADAP TELUR INFEKTIF Ascaris suum SECARA In Vitro DAN LARVANYA PADA MENCIT (Mus musculus)

Abstrak

A research has been done by comparing an extract influence of white turmeric (Curcuma zedoaria Rosc.) and black turmeric (C. aeruginosa Roxb.) on Ascaris suum infective eggs (in vitro) and A. suum larvae in white mice (Mus musculus L.). The reseach used experimental laboratory by completely random design. The collected data were analyzed by analysis of variance continued by Duncan Multiple Test. The result shown that the extract of white turmeric (C. zedoaria) and black turmeric (C. aeruginosa) influenced on the mortality of A. suum infective eggs (in vitro) and the mortality of A. suum larvae in the lung of white mice (in vivo). The result also shown that there was no different of anthelmintic effectivity between white turmeric and black turmeric extract  both in the in vitro and also in vivo research. The increment of extract concentration were go together with the increment of mortality percentage of A. suum infective eggs (in vitro)  and also the increasing of mortality percentage of A. suum larvae in the lung of white mice (in vivo). More over, the extract concentration of 60% was representing the most effective concentration since it shown the best anthelmintic effect in both in vitro and in vivo research.
