IDENTIFIKASI BAKTERI PATOGEN PADA IKAN SIDAT (Anguilla bicolor dan A. anguilla) DAN KEMUNGKINAN PENGOBATANNYA

Abstrak

Identification of pathogenic bacteria in local eels (Anguilla bicolor) and imported eels (A. anguilla) together with sensitivity test of microbial agent have been conducted. The  objective of the study is to determine varieties of the bacteria causing disease. Identification of bacteria used physiological and biochemical tests. for the disease treatment used sensitivity of bacteria to drugs. The results showd that motile Aeromonas was dominant found in local eels then and vibrio sp, Streptococcus sp, Bacillus sp, Pseudomonas sp and Flavobacterium sp. While in imported eels were found Enterobacter sp, motile Aeromonas, Choromobacter sp, Pseudomonas sp and coccus sp. Motile Aeromonas and vibrio sp were sensitive to nalidixic acid and  chloramphenicol.
