Review Artikel : Aktivitas Farmakologi Cassia fistula Linn
Abstrak
Cassia fistula atau Trengguli adalah tanaman tropis yang memiliki banyak manfaat. Secara empiris, orang menggunakan Cassia fistula sebagai penyembuh pencahar dan luka. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menguji aktivitas farmakologi Cassia fistula sebagai antibakteri, antijamur, antioksidan, laksatif, hepatoprotektor, nefroprotektor, anti inflamasi, antipiretik, antitusif, antiulcer, antelmentik, inhibitor asetilkolinesterase, anti aging, penyembuhan luka, dan hipolipidemik. Review ini akan membahas tentang beberapa aktivitas farmakologi ekstrak Cassia fistula dari berbagai pelarut dan dari beberapa bagian tanaman.
