AKTIVITAS ANTI VIRUS HEPATITIS B PADA BEBERAPA TANAMAN DENGAN METODE PENGUJIAN IN VIVO DAN IN VITRO : REVIEW JURNAL

Hepatitis merupakan peradangan pada hati yang dapat berkembang menjadi kanker hati, sirosis, atau jaringan parut (fibrosis). Hepatitis B merupakan yang paling banyak menginfeksi penduduk Indonesia dibandingkan jenis hepatitis lainnya yaitu sebesar 21,8%. Pengobatan hepatitis B yang disetujui saat ini memiliki keterbatasan masing-masing. Banyak tanaman telah dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas anti virus hepatitis B sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif terapi Hepatitis B. Fokus review ini adalah anti virus hepatitis B pada beberapa tanaman dengan metode pegujian in vivo dan in vitro. Hasil pengkajian dari 30 artikel ditemukan bahwa pada setiap tanaman memiliki mekanisme sebagai anti virus hepatitis B. Tanaman Rabdosia japonica memiliki aktivitas penghambatan virus Hepatitis B paling efektif dengan dosis terendah yaitu 20 μg/mL dibandingkan dengan kontrol.

ABSTRACT

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver that can develop into liver cancer, cirrhosis, or scarring (fibrosis). Hepatitis B is the most infecting population of Indonesia compared to other types of hepatitis that is equal to 21.8%. Currently approved hepatitis B treatments have their respective limitations. Many plants have been reported to have anti-hepatitis B virus activity so that it can be used as an alternative to hepatitis B therapy. The focus of this review is anti-hepatitis B virus in some plants with in vivo and in vitro testing methods. The results of a study of 30 articles found that each plant has a mechanism as an anti-hepatitis B virus. Rabdosia japonica plants have the most effective inhibitory activity of hepatitis B virus with the lowest dose of 20 μg / mL compared to controls.
