Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of phosphate fertilizers and planting systems on pH, P available and P uptake in rice plants The experiment has been conducted at Experimental Station and Training Center For Agriculture Development, Padjadjaran University at Jelekong distric. Bandung Regency. West Java at 628 m above sea level, from May 2012 until August 2012. It was arranged in Factorial Design with three replications. The first factor was planting system  (conventional , legowo 2:1 , and twin seedling ) and the second factor was phosphate fertilizer ( 0 kg ha ; 25 kg ha ; 50 kg ha ; 75 kg ha ;and 100 kg ha ). The experimental results has indicated that there are no interactions on both factor on pH, but there are an interactions on both factor on P-available with the highest yield at 44 , 27 ppm and P uptake of plants with the highest yield of 268.83 mg plant in twin seedling planting systems .
