The research about utilization of cassava estate waste bioconversion was aimed to recognize utilization level of cassava estate waste fermented which give the best result on Local lambs performances. Cassava estate waste consists of foliage, steam and peel of cassava. They were anaerobe fermented by soybean sauce sludge as an additive and then stored for 21 days. Different
utilization levels of African Star grass and fermented of cassava estate waste (FCEW) were gave to 20 heads Local Lambs. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in this research with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and differences among treatments were examined with Duncan's multiple range test. Variables measured are dry matter intake, dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, and average daily gain. The result showed that the treatments have a significant effect on dry matter intake (P<0,05), but there have no significant effect on the other variables was measured. There was a body weight loss in all treatment with average 18,53 g/d due to lack of protein consumption and hydrogen cyanide (HCN) poisoning.
