Author Guidelines
The Editor of the JSBP Journal, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University accepts writing contributions related to the results of socio-economic research, the marketing business of livestock and livestock products, as well as concepts and ideas with a minimum written format covering Background , concept/ idea/thought, Application Method of idea/concept/thought, Discussion and Conclusion. Below is a writing guide as follows:
A. Length of Writing
Articles are made with a maximum length of 15 pages. Sent to the editor in soft copy to JSBP email (mktaniternak@gmail.com) according to the available template. Articles that do not match the template will be returned for repair. The editor has the right to make editing limited to technical writing.
B. Writing Format
1. Title
- The title of the article is concise and clear, no more than 15 words
- The title reflects the content of the scientific article
2. Author Name
Write the name of the main author (first placed), followed by the names of other team members. The author's name is written without a title. If the team members are from different universities, state the identity of their respective institutions, for example:
First author 1 , second author 2 , third author 3 , etc…. (center, Times New Roman font 11)

3. Abstract
Abstract and Abstract (English) consists of a paragraph in which there can only be words and symbols. The abstract contains a brief explanation of the background of the writing, the purpose of the writing, the results obtained, discussion, and conclusions. Abstract length consists of a maximum of 250 words. At the end of the abstract there are at least 5 keywords. The typeface used in the abstract is Times New Roman 10pt after.
4. Introduction
- A description of the results of the analysis of the current situation.
- Describe the problems of partners or program target communities in general, and material that is a priority in the PKM program, and explain the justification for determining the priority of these problems.
- Add a framework of thought and or theoretical aspects that support the selection of an activity program.
- Write down the objectives and benefits of the program of activities.
- The introductory content is written in Times New Roman 12 font and written with single spaces.
5. Method
- The method is written using the Times New Roman font. 12.
- Clearly describe the solutions offered and implemented in overcoming the problems of partners or target communities of the PKM program.
- Describe the approach methods offered and implemented to solve the problems of partners or target communities of the PKM program.
- Describe work procedures in solving problems of partners or target communities of the PKM program.
Write down the time and location of the program being implemented. 6. Results and Discussion - The main discussion contains the results and discussion, written in Times New Roman 12 font. The results are displayed with clear descriptions, can be supported by illustrations (tables, graphs, diagrams and the like).
- Writing the title of the table is written above the table and numbered according to the order of the table. Writing the title of the graph and the like are written below the graph and numbered according to the order of the graph.

- The discussion must be able to reveal and explain the results obtained and the resolution of partner problems or PKM program targets in program implementation.
- Describe the types of outputs generated from program activities.
- Describe possible follow-up implications, impacts, lessons learned and program development. 7. Conclusion - Summarizing the contents of the results and discussion clearly and concisely.
- Conclusions are not detailed in bullet points, but in the form of paragraphs.
- The conclusion is written in Times New Roman 12 font and written in single space.
8. Acknowledgments (if any)
Acknowledgments (if any) are addressed to the research sponsoring agency/institution. The contents of the thank you letter are written in Times New Roman 12 font and written in single space.
9. Bibliography
The contents of the bibliography are written in Times New Roman 11 font and written in 1 space. The bibliography
is a source of reference/reference that is used as material for quotations from writing the manuscript. Writing
bibliography using the rules of the American Psychological Association (APA) Style. The number
of reference sources used as a bibliography of at least 10 titles of scientific literature (80%
primary references and 20% secondary references). Primary reference sources, such as: journals,
PKM reports, and proceedings papers. Secondary reference sources, such as: books and
internet sources.
We recommend writing citations using the Mendeley reference manager application .

C. Statement of Original Manuscripts
Make and sign a statement that the manuscript is original and not plagiarized.
D. Selingkung ( Template )
For ease of writing, a template (circle) has been prepared which can be downloaded on the Social Business Journal of Animal Husbandry (JSBP) page of the Department of Socio-Economics, Faculty of Animal Science, Padjadjaran University.
