Jurnal Kajian Komunikasi was published, on December 2012, by the Faculty of Communication Science, Universitas Padjadjaran. The first printed edition was published on June 2013. Meanwhile, Jurnal Kajian Komunkasi starts using Online Journal System in June 2016. Therefore, our publication from June 2013 to December 2015 was back-issued.
As we grew, we did some alterations in order to make improvements. Author guidelines were revised on June 2016. We also employ a journal template for December 2017 edition with additional title sours on the first page. Moreover, we also revise the focus and scope of the same issue. For June 2023 issue, we will also implement new author guidelines and a journal template.
On Mei 5, 2017, Journal's name on OJS has changed from Jurnal Kajian Komunikasi: Communication Studies Journal to Jurnal Kajian Komunikasi.
Jurnal Kajian Komunikasi accredited by Kemenristekdikti RI since December 2017 based on SK No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, and start applying fee for each article to be published since June 2018.
Since December 2021 issue, this journal has exclusively published all papers in English. Therefore, it only accepts submissions written in English. The change to the use of the English language aims to improve its international audiences so that the publication is expected to engage more global readership and authorship.
