Jurnal Produksi Ternak Terapan (Journal of Applied Animal Production / JPTT) with registered number e-ISSN 2722-6611 is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Padjadjaran, in collaboration with the Perkumpulan Insinyur dan Sarjana Peternakan Indonesia (ISPI).

JPTT is dedicated to serving as a scholarly forum bridging the gap between fundamental discoveries and field-level applications. The journal focuses primarily on applied research and technological innovations that enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in tropical livestock science (including cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and poultry).

JPTT welcomes the submission of original research articles and comprehensive reviews within the following scope:

Livestock Production and Management Systems
Applied Breeding and Genetics
Reproduction and Physiology
Animal Biotechnology
Animal Behavior and Welfare
Livestock Health and Biosecurity

JPTT enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, data fabrication, and redundant submission. All manuscripts undergo initial screening and automated similarity checks via Turnitin. Qualifying manuscripts are subjected to a Double-Blind Peer-Review process by at least two independent experts in the respective field. Detailed prerequisites, standards, and manuscript formats are outlined in the Author Guidelines.

JPTT is published triannually, releasing three issues per volume year in March, July, and November. Continuous submission is open year-round.

As a peer-reviewed journal under Universitas Padjadjaran, JPTT is structurally aligned with publishing standards. All published articles are immediately assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and indexed in Google Scholar, Crossref, Dimensions, and Garuda.
