Abstract

ABSTRACT

Tasikmalaya Regency is one of the centers of Cihateup duck development. The development of Cihateup duck farmers in the Tasikmalaya Regency is inseparable from the knowledge and experience of breeding, however, do farmers have the motivation and capabilities in their business activities. The goals of this research were to (1) analyze the entrepreneurship motivation of Cihateup duck farmers in Tasikmalaya Regency, (2) analyze the livestock capability of Cihateup duck farmers (3) analyze the relations between the entrepreneurship motivation of Cihateup duck farmers on livestock capability. This methode of research was survey, of Cihateup duck farmers in Tasikmalaya Regency with a total of 25 respondents. Statistical analysis using Spearman's Rank Correlation (rs) and in interpreted with Guilford rules. The result of research shows that (1) entrepreneurial motivation of Cihateup duck farmers category 56%, (2) livestock capability category 52%, and (3) the correlation between the entrepreneurship motivations with livestock capability of Cihateup duck farmers shows weak but surely with Spearman rank correlation coefficient (r_s = 0.359).
