Description Kajian Jurnalisme is a scholarly journal dedicated to the critical, empirical, and theoretical study of journalism as a public practice, professional institution, knowledge system, cultural form, and technological field. The journal focuses on research that examines how journalism is produced, distributed, interpreted, governed, transformed, and contested in society. It gives special attention to journalism as a practice of public communication that shapes information, public knowledge, accountability, democracy, identity, power, crisis response, and everyday social life.
