Kultivasi

Jurnal Kultivasi is published by the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran in collaboration with Indonesian Agronomy Association (In Bahasa Indonesia: Perhimpunan Agronomi Indonesia/PERAGI). This journal is published three times a year, i.e., in April, August and December. Jurnal Kultivasi publishes both research article and review with various subject areas, such as agronomy, plant ecology, plant physiology, plant breeding, weed science, seed technology, post-harvest technology, soil science, and plant protection.

Jurnal Kultivasi was first published in 2000 with the print ISSN 1412-4718 and then published online since 2014 with the electronic ISSN 2581-138x. Jurnal Kultivasi is managed under the Open Journal System (OJS). It is an open access journal so everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles. This journal has been accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia since volume 15 number 1 in 2016 (certificate). Jurnal Kultivasi has been indexed in Google Scholar, Sinta, IPI, and ISJD.

Articles published in Kultivasi written in English. Manuscripts submitted by the author will be handled by the editor, who will determine whether the manuscript meets the scope and format of the journal, and possesses novelty. The editor decides whether the manuscript is rejected or processed to the next stage. They will then select reviewers who are competent related to the subject area of the manuscript. The reviewer will propose for the article to be accepted, rejected, or requiring improvement. There is three to six months required starting from article submission to publish.

Updated APC Policy
The Editorial Board of Jurnal Kultivasi would like to inform authors, reviewers, and readers that starting from Volume 25, Issue 2 (August 2026), several adjustments to the Article Processing Charges (APC) policy will be implemented. Updated APC Policy New APC Rate For each manuscript accepted and published, the APC will be IDR 1,500,000. Please note that this fee does not include a printed (hardcopy) version of the journal. Discount Policy The journal continues to support broader participation through the following discounts: 20% discount for members of PERAGI (Indonesian Agronomy Association). Additional 30% discount for articles in which at least one author is affiliated with a non-Indonesian institution or university. These adjustments are made to support the sustainability of the journal’s publication process, maintain editorial quality, and enhance international visibility while continuing to encourage collaboration and inclusivity.

Published Articles in Two Languages
Starting from vol. 20 of 2021, Jurnal Kultivasi has published articles in two languages, namely Bahasa Indonesia and English. Starting from vol. 21 year 2022 we highly prioritize articles in English to be published.

Accreditation result of Jurnal Kultivasi
After re-accreditation, Jurnal Kultivasi has increased in rank from Sinta 4 to Sinta 2 starting from volume 17 number 1 of 2018. The result of accreditation is provided in the Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of BRIN Number 200/M/KPT/2020 concerning the Accreditation Rating of Scientific Journals Period III year 2020.
