STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN BUDIDAYA IKAN AIR TAWAR MELALUI PENGUATAN MODAL PADA KELOMPOK PEMBUDIDAYA IKAN TELAGA BERTUAH KABUPATEN SIAK
Abstrak
Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan karena adanya permalahan yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan (Pokdakan) Telaga Bertuah dalam pengembangan usaha budidaya ikan air tawar. Permasalah prioritas yang dihadapi yaitu keterbatasan keterampilan dan pengetahuan, kekurangan dana/modal dalam menyediakan bibit ikan dan pakan ikan, keterbatasan alat teknologi inovasi. Strategi yang dilakukan sebagai solusi permasalahan yaitu melakukan Pendidikan dan pelatihan, pemberian bantuan bibit ikan dan pakan ikan, penerapan alat teknologi PH meter digital. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan survey awal, sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan pelatihan, monitoring evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan anggota dalam pengembangan budidaya ikan air tawar, peningkaan kuantitas ikan dan kolam yang terisi ikan, ketersediaan pakan ikan yang memadai, selanjutnya termonitornya suhu dan kadar air kolam. Kedala dalam pelaksanaan mencakup keterbatasan anggran, sarana dan prasarana yang belum mengakomodir kebutuhan budidaya ikan, dan perubahan cuaca. Rencan tindak lanjut yaitu melakukan diversifikasi hasil panen ikan dan pemasaran berbasis digital.
