Focus and Scope

Launched in November 2019, Padjadjaran Acute Care Nursing Journal (PACNJ) is a newcomer's publication place in the field of nursing carried out by the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran. PACNJ aims to become an international journal to protect researchers around the world. PACNJ continues to improve quality by involving many experts in the field of nursing. PACNJ is an open access journal.

PACNJ focuses on receiving articles in various fields of nursing including; emergency nursing, critical nursing, emergency nursing in children, emergency nursing in maternity, emergency nursing in mental health, nursing emergency in medical surgery, emergency nursing in community and miscellaneous.

Articles published in PACNJ have been selected by a team of editors and a peer review process from reviewers who are experts in the field of nursing. Articles published on PACNJ have also been completed by Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and indexed by Google Scholar, ISJD and Kandaga.

Publication Ethics

STATEMENT OF ETHICS

Padjadjaran Acute Care Nursing Journal uses the guidelines of the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) and the International Journal of Medical Journal Editor (ICMJE) in 2018 in the application of publication ethics.

The Role of the Editorial Board:

  1. Editor in Chief determines the direction of publication following the internal provisions of the journal.
  2. Editor in Chief maintains an internal policy for all publication processes.
  3. Editor in Chief acts as the manager of control over the quality of publications by ensuring that each publication process is approved following established rules.
  4. Editor in Chief will take responsive steps when there are ethical issues regarding the publication of articles that have been published.
  5. Editor in Chief has full responsibility for the journal.
  6. Editorial Board oversees the daily operations of the PACNJ.
  7. Editorial Board must report findings that are not appropriate to the editor in chief.
  8. Editorial Board reviews the articles that will and have been published on PACNJ.
  9. Editorial Board reviews the article objectively.
  10. Editorial Board must maintain the confidentiality of the article submitted.

 The role of the Reviewer:

  1. Reviewer must maintain the confidentiality of each article received for review and may not be discussed with others unless authorized by the editorial board.
  2. Reviewers are permitted to assist or advise the editorial board in making decisions about the article.
  3. Reviewers who cannot review the process and / or refuse to review the articles provided must report immediately to the editorial board.
  4. Reviewer must conduct an objective review and the results of the review must be formulated on the comment sheet provided.
  5. Reviewers must identify and ensure that the articles reviewed have never been published elsewhere.
  6. Reviewer must not be involved in any author's conflict of interest.

The role of the writer:

  1. Author must guarantee that the article submitted has never been published before elsewhere.
  2. Authors must ensure the authenticity of the article and quote the work of others following the correct writing conventions.
  3. Author may not do plagiarism.
  4. Authors must make sure to follow the COPE and ICMJE guidelines.
  5. Authors must guarantee ethical principles in gathering data about the articles submitted.
  6. In research on humans, writers must pass ethical tests from recognized ethical institutions.
