Heritage Diplomacy Indonesia-Belanda dalam Repatriasi Warisan Budaya menurut Perspektif Poskolonialisme

Abstrak


Artikel ini membahas heritage diplomacy yang dilaksanakan oleh Indonesia dan Belanda melalui repatriasi benda warisan budaya pada periode 2021–2024 dengan perspektif poskolonialisme. Riset menggunakan konsep cultural heritage dalam hubungan internasional, heritage diplomacy, repatriasi, dan perspektif poskolonialisme. Metode riset yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara serta data sekunder melalui riset berbasis digital. Riset ini menemukan bahwa aktivitas repatriasi warisan budaya Indonesia dan Belanda merupakan bentuk heritage diplomacy dengan penggunaan warisan budaya dalam aktivitas pertukaran, kolaborasi, dan kerja sama. Dalam konteks poskolonialisme, repatriasi warisan budaya beserta provenance research di dalamnya merupakan bentuk dekolonisasi yang bermakna menghadapi masa lalu kolonial yang kompleks dan upaya untuk mendekolonisasi cara berpikir kolonial. Heritage diplomacy melalui repatriasi warisan budaya menjadi jembatan dalam membangun kepercayaan kedua negara dalam menyelesaikan isu-isu historis, membina kedudukan kedua negara dengan modalitas kesetaraan, serta menjadi upaya dalam mewujudkan kompensasi atas ketidakadilan yang terjadi di masa lampau.
