PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI SYSTEM APPLICATION AND PRODUCT (SAP) PADA PROSES ADMINISTRASI DIVISI RANTAI PASOK PT PINDAD (PERSERO)
Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan dan implementasi Sistem Aplikasi dan Produk (SAP) pada proses administrasi di Divisi Rantai Pasok PT PINDAD (Persero). Pokok permasalahan yang diangkat adalah tantangan yang dihadapi PT PINDAD dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas manajemen rantai pasok serta sumber daya manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kelebihan dan kelemahan SAP dalam konteks tersebut serta mengidentifikasi dampak yang dihasilkan setelah implementasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SAP membawa peningkatan signifikan dalam pengelolaan data, efisiensi operasional, dan transparansi informasi antar departemen. Meskipun demikian, tantangan dalam hal biaya, pelatihan, dan manajemen perubahan tetap menjadi perhatian utama. Kesimpulannya, SAP berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional di PT PINDAD, namun memerlukan strategi implementasi yang matang untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang muncul.
This research discusses the development and implementation of the System Application and Product (SAP) in the administrative processes of the Supply Chain Division at PT PINDAD (Persero). The main issue addressed is the challenges PT PINDAD faces in improving the efficiency and quality of supply chain management and human resources. The objective of this research is to examine the strengths and weaknesses of SAP in this context and identify the impacts resulting from its implementation. The method used is descriptive qualitative, employing observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation of SAP has significantly improved data management, operational efficiency, and information transparency across departments. However, challenges related to costs, training, and change management remain key concerns. In conclusion, SAP contributes positively to enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness at PT PINDAD, but requires a well-planned implementation strategy to address the various challenges that arise.
