Author Guidelines
Manuscript Organization
Manuscripts should follow the GSAG template and be structured as follows:
- Title and author information
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion (The Results and Discussion sections may be combined where appropriate)
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements
- References
- Supplementary Material (if any)
Title
The manuscript should begin with a clear and concise title that accurately reflects the main topic and scope of the study.
Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
The full name(s) of the author(s) should be written clearly, followed by their institutional affiliation(s) and country. The corresponding author must be clearly indicated, along with an active email address.
Abstract
The abstract provides a brief and comprehensive summary of the research background, objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions. It should be written in english with 200–300 words (maximum 300 words) and written in a single paragraph and be understandable without referring to the main text. Must not contain references, figures, tables, or equations.
Keywords
Authors must provide 4-6 relevant keywords that represent the main topics of the manuscript and support indexing and discoverability.
INTRODUCTION
This section presents the background of the study, research objectives, and its scientific relevance to geological sciences and applied geology. The geological setting of the study area, including regional and local geology, stratigraphy, and tectonic framework, may be included as part of the Introduction when appropriate.
RESEARCH METHOD
The research method section describes the data, materials, study area, and analytical techniques used in the research in sufficient detail to allow reproducibility.
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
This section presents the research results clearly and objectively, followed by an interpretation and discussion of their significance in relation to previous studies and existing knowledge.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion summarizes the main findings of the study and highlights their scientific contributions and implications.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Acknowledgements may include funding sources, institutional support, and individuals who contributed to the research but do not qualify as authors.
REFERENCES
All cited sources must be listed in the references section and formatted according to the journal’s citation style. The reference list must comprise at least 80% primary sources and no more than 20% secondary sources, with references published within the last 10 years (2013–2023). Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).
