PENGARUH Bacillus chitinosporus, B. uniflagellatus dan B. laterosporus TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN PLANLET KELAPA SAWIT DI PEMBIBITAN AWAL
Abstrak
The nature-friendly systems are oriented in increasing products as well as utilizing the limited field and environment; this effort can be obtained by using biological fertilizer. A factorial experiment with three replications, each consist of eight planlets were tested by biological fertilizer with the help of Bacillus bacteria such as B. chitinosporus, B. uniflagellatus and B. laterosporus. Each of these bacteria owns a specific capability in increasing the plantlet’s seedling growth grown in a lack-nutrient media with organic compound enrichment and bacteria spore of 540, 360, and 720 thousands of CPU (Colony forming unit)/ml. The result showed that there was no interaction between the two factors, and the concentration of the bacterial spore showed no significance difference. However, these three bacteria affect the growth in height and leaf areas. Compare to the other bacteria, B. laterosporus was potentially best in stimulating the growth.
