PENGARUH PENYIMPANAN ISOLAT DAN PENURUNAN BIBIT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL PANEN JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH (Pleurotus ostreatus)

Abstrak

An experiment to study the effect of degeneration of spawn on growth rate and fruit body formation of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) has been conducted. The culture that used were stock culture from Microbiology Division and isolated from fruit body of P. ostreatus. Spawn degeneration was done 3 level, F2 spawn to F3, F3 spawn to F4 and F4 spawn to F5.  The result showed that growth rate and the ability of fruit body formation between  stock culture and isolated culture was not defferent.  Growth rate oyster mushroom increased with degeneration of spawn but the ability of fruit body formation decreased.
