Informatio journal is published three times a year in January, May, and September. Starting in Volume 1, and in one volume there are three numbers. Contains articles raised from the results of research in the field of Information and Library Science.

The journal editors, external editors, and competent reviewers in each related field will review every article received. The review uses a double-blind peer review before the journal is published. Information: The Journal of Library and Information Science will publish selected papers under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Informatio accredited by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 4) based on SK No. 177/E/KPT/2024, about Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode II Tahun 2024.

Informatio: Journal of Library and Information Science is a journal with a focus on studies in the fields of libraries, information science, and knowledge with the following research scope:

• The field of the library includes librarianship and library management, including services, collections, digitization, collaborative networking, and/or other relevant themes.
• Information science includes informetrics, bibliometrics, webometrics, information repackaging, information retrieval, information literacy, information organization, and/or other similar themes.
• Knowledge management is the process of creating (generating, capturing), storing (preserving, integrating), sharing (communicating, transferring), applying (implementing), and reusing knowledge in GLAM (Gallery, Library, Museum, Archive).
• Review of documentation at GLAM (Gallery, Library, Museum, Archive), including collection management in galleries, preservation of collections in libraries, manuscript management, artifacts, archive management, data documentation, and publications either in databases or other media (such as repositories, big data, data, metadata), and other documentation research at information institutions.
• Analysis of documents on GLAM (Gallery, Library, Museum, Archive).
• Literature analysis on GLAM (Gallery, Library, Museum, Archive).
