Analysis of the Flow of Goods, Money and Information and Measurement of Sheep Supply Chain Performance Using the SCOR Model at the Wanayasa and Bojong Animal Markets

Abstract

The culture of sheep farming grows and develops in West Java, which has an impact on relatively complex trade dynamics, thus forming its own supply chain in each animal market. Study of the sheep supply chain is important to increase trade efficiency. The research aims to determine the performance of the sheep supply chain in several animal markets in Purwakarta Regency. The research method used was a survey, and respondents were determined using snowball sampling and accidental sampling. The research uses a descriptive analysis model and Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) analysis. The research results show that: supply chain actors in both animal markets consist of breeders, collectors, dealers, traders and consumers. The flow of goods and money is considered smooth, but transactional in nature. Intensive information flow only occurs to the closest actors, it is not interconnected between all supply chain actors. The performance of the Wanayasa Animal Market sheep supply chain shows that the Perfect Order Fulfillment (POF) metric has an opportunity of IDR 57,375,000, and the need to increase the Order Fulfillment Cycle Time (OFCT) or delivery reliability, Upside Supply Chain Adaptability (USCA) or increase in sales, inhibits Downside Supply Chain Adaptability (DSCA), as well as streamlining costs or Supply Chain Management Cost (SCMC). Meanwhile, the Bojong Animal Market produces a POF metric that has an opportunity of IDR 63,800,000, it needs to increase OFCT, USCA, inhibit DSCA, and streamline SCMC costs.
