Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran with registered number ISSN 1410-5659 (print) ISSN 2621-5144 (online) is a scientific open access journal published by Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Padjadjaran.

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran aims to publish original research results and reviews on farm tropical animals such as cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry, as well as nondomesticated Indonesian endemic animals, such as deers, the anoa, etc.

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal sciences: breeding and genetics, reproduction and physiology, nutrition, feed sciences, agrostology, animal products, biotechnology, behaviour, welfare, health, livestock farming system, socio-economic, and policy. Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran published three issues a year in March, July and November.

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere nor being considered or processed for publication anywhere, and demonstrate no plagiarism whatsoever. The prerequisites, standards, and format of the manuscript are listed in the author guidelines and templates. Any accepted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two referees. Authors are free of charge throughout the whole process including article submission, review and editing process, and publication.
