Teknotan: Jurnal Industri Teknologi Pertanian, with registration numbers ISSN 1978-1067 (print) and ISSN 2528-6285 (online), is a scientific journal that publishes research results in the field of agro-industrial technology. Subjects in Teknotan: Jurnal Industri Teknologi Pertanian cover: soil and water engineering, agricultural tools and machinery, post-harvest and process technology, agricultural mechanization systems and management, agricultural information technology, smart and precision agriculture and other pertinent fields related to agro-industrial technology.

This journal is published by the Faculty of Agro-Industrial Technology, Universitas Padjadjaran, in collaboration with the Agricultural Engineering Association (PERTETA) and Indonesian Soil and Water Conservation Society (MKTI). Furthermore, based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025 designated as an Accredited Scientific Journal (Sinta 2) from Vol. 16 No. 1, 2022 to Vol. 20 No. 2, 2026.

Since 2017, the Open Journal System (OJS) has been implemented for all business processes in the Teknotan: Jurnal Industri Teknologi Pertanian. Therefore, authors are required to register in advance and upload their manuscripts online. This system allows readers, authors, editorial boards, editors, and peer reviewers to obtain the real-time status of manuscripts.

Articles published in Teknotan: Jurnal Industri Teknologi Pertanian can be written in  in 2 languages, i.e., Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors must submit original articles that have never been published elsewhere, accepted for publication elsewhere or under editorial review to be published elsewhere. Editors can revise papers without changing the substance and content after a blind review process.

Since 2022, the Teknotan: Jurnal Industri Teknologi Pertanian has been published 3 times a year in April, August, and December (1 volume, 3 issues) to disseminate conceptual ideas in the field of agro-industrial technology.
